Agency Dossier · Los Angeles · October 2026
Five SEO agencies that sell to Los Angeles law firms, checked like a vendor, not reviewed like a product.
Since January 1, 2026, California’s SB 37 puts the legal risk for misleading ads on the law firm, not the agency, so the vendor check matters more than it used to.

Before you sign: what the numbers mean for an LA firm
1
1 of 5: agencies here publish a monthly SEO price
Attorney Marketing Network states most firms start around $1,000 to $3,000 a month, no setup fee, and that LA competition pushes the number up. Majux publishes a different number: an average of $750 per signed personal injury case in 2024, which is its own figure. The other three quote only after an audit or call.

$5,000 to $100,000: statutory damages per misleading ad, payable by the firm
SB 37 took effect January 1, 2026. It counts websites and online ads as advertising, bans award badges from groups that charge a fee or require membership, and requires a lawyer or firm name plus the city of a real office. Agencies that only prepare ad content are carved out, so the firm carries the exposure.

$0: what a Google Business Profile and Search Console cost
The map pack is where most local legal calls start, and the profile is free to claim and run yourself. Google’s own rules say a rented mailing address you do not work from is not eligible, so an agency that suggests a virtual office for a new LA listing is putting the profile at risk of suspension.

Attorney Marketing Network
Firms that want law-only SEO on a month-to-month term with a starting price stated up front
Why it made the list
Attorney Marketing Network works only with law firms and is the one agency in this group that prints a monthly price on its SEO services for attorneys page: most firms start around $1,000 to $3,000 a month, with no setup fee and no long-term contract. Its Los Angeles proof is named. The agency states it took Land Legal Group into the top local map result for Los Angeles divorce lawyers, and its practice pages cover injury, family, criminal defense, DUI, employment, immigration and bankruptcy. PPC, Local Services Ads, web design and review work sit under the same roof, so search and paid work can stay with one vendor.

Your first-call script
QWhich LA firms in my practice area do you already serve, and do you cap clients per market?
QAt my price tier, which deliverables are fixed each month and which are optional?
QWho checks my pages and ads against SB 37 before they go live?
From the reviews we read
+ Responsive to requests+ Sets expectations and meets them+ Page one gains in multiple practice areas~ 31 reviews, a modest base
Reviewers return to the same three points: calls and emails get answered, the team says what it can deliver and then does it, and rankings moved for several practice areas. Several clients say they have stayed more than three years. No negative review appeared in the set we read, which is worth weighing against the small total.
Fit and watch-outThe clearest pricing in this group and no lock-in, which lowers the cost of finding out whether the work fits. The trade-off: the $1,000 floor is a starting point, and the agency’s own FAQ says LA costs more than smaller cities. Headline figures such as 400% lead growth come from its own case studies and cannot be checked from outside.
02
LawRank
Firms that want attorney-trained content writers and a California team without needing an LA office
Why it made the list
LawRank is a law firm SEO agency that works only with lawyers and says its team includes JD holders; co-founder Mariano Rodriguez is a UCLA School of Law graduate. Its offices are in San Diego and New York, not Los Angeles, but its testimonials name several LA family, injury and criminal defense attorneys. On paid search the client pays Google directly, so ad spend and management fee stay separate. Its intake form asks for firm revenue and invites firms to see whether it has a spot in their market, which suggests it limits how many competing firms it takes.

QIs my practice area open in Los Angeles, and what makes a market closed?
QWhich two LA clients can I call as references?
QIf we part ways, who owns the content, the links and the Google Ads account?
From the reviews we read
At 104 Google reviews, LawRank has the largest review base in this group, more than three times any other agency here. We have not coded themes for it because we did not read that review text ourselves, and the quotes on its own site are chosen by the agency. Read the Google and Clutch profiles directly before a call.
Fit and watch-outStrong fit for firms that care who writes the legal content and like the market-exclusivity signal. The trade-off: no Los Angeles office and no published price, so the first conversation has to cover both.
03
Majux
Injury firms that want Spanish-language pages and a cost-per-signed-case benchmark
Why it made the list
Majux runs its Los Angeles law firm SEO work from Philadelphia, Denver and Miami, with no California office. Most of its clients practice personal injury, and it states its legal writers have passed the bar exam. Two things set it apart here: a Spanish-language SEO, content and PPC offering, which matters in a city where Spanish is spoken in a large share of homes, and a published average of $750 per signed injury case for its clients in 2024. Its LA plan targets surrounding cities such as Pasadena, Long Beach, Santa Clarita and Thousand Oaks after the main city pages.

QHow is a signed case counted for the $750 figure, and what was it for LA clients specifically?
QWho writes the Spanish pages, and how do you check my intake can handle Spanish calls?
QHow many LA injury firms do you serve right now?
From the reviews we read
+ Long client tenure+ Responsive team+ Monthly performance reports~ Several reviews from non-law clients
One attorney reviewer describes six years with the agency and credits it with not overselling. Others mention monthly reports showing visits and leads, and fast communication. A share of the 22 reviews come from a CPA, a real estate developer and an e-commerce brand, so the law firm sample is smaller than the total suggests.
Fit and watch-outThe best fit here for an injury firm that wants Spanish search covered properly. The trade-off: no California office, and the $750 figure is a national PI average the agency reports about itself.
04
GLP Marketing
Firms that want a consulting CMO and AI-search tracking, with Search Console data in the case studies
Why it made the list
GLP Marketing (GLP Consulting Corp) is based in West Hollywood and sells lawyer SEO services in Los Angeles as part of a consulting CMO model, with fractional CMO work available separately. Its case studies quote Google Search Console numbers for LA firms: Westview Law, an employment firm, went from 166 to 1,559 Google clicks in the three months after a site rebuild, and Burg & Brock, an injury firm, from 452 to 1,774 clicks year over year after a move to an English and Spanish site. Its LA page also explains California’s ad copy retention rule, a sign it writes with the advertising rules in view.

QWhat do the Westview and Burg & Brock numbers look like 12 months after launch?
QIs the consulting CMO a separate fee from the SEO work itself?
QWho builds and writes the pages: staff or contractors?
From the reviews we read
+ Does not overpromise+ Knows legal SEO+ Visible in AI answers~ 20 reviews, a modest base
Reviewers describe the founder as honest about what SEO can and cannot do, and several call out legal-specific knowledge. One notes the agency can show its own traffic from AI results, which is unusual proof for an AI-search pitch. The base is small and all five reviews we read were positive.
Fit and watch-outGood for a firm that wants strategy and measurement as much as execution, and an LA County office to visit. The trade-off: the published case study windows are short (three months in one case), and pricing is not published.

LAD Solutions
Smaller LA firms that want SEO and Google Ads from a local general agency at a lower price point
Why it made the list
LAD Solutions positions itself as an affordable SEO company in Los Angeles and Google Ads agency, and it is the only general-industry shop in this group: its case studies run from clinics and wholesalers to two LA law firms, Omni Legal Group (patent and trademark) and Hakim Law Group (startup law). The office is in Los Angeles (90058) and keeps weekday hours. One practice worth copying: it sets up Google Ads and Analytics in the client’s name, and its FAQ says the client keeps full access after the relationship ends.

QHow many law firm clients do you serve now, and in which practice areas?
QWho checks the lawyer name and office city disclosures on ads you write for me?
QWhich Google Partner tier do you hold today? The homepage badge and the FAQ describe it differently.
From the reviews we read
+ Responsive to small requests+ Patient with non-technical owners~ Reviews mostly from non-law businesses
Reviewers name the founder, Ali, and describe quick replies and patience with owners who are not technical. The reviews we read come from a startup, a reputation management client and other small businesses rather than law firms, so they speak to service style more than legal results.
Fit and watch-outA practical choice for a business, IP or transactional firm that wants a local vendor and owns its accounts from day one. The trade-off: no consumer injury or family law case study, and no sign on the site of SB 37 process.
04
Six clauses for any agency contract after SB 37
Approval in writing. The agency drafts; a named attorney at the firm approves every ad and landing page before it goes live. SB 37 puts the liability on the firm, so the sign-off should sit there too.
Name and city on every ad. Each ad and practice page shows a California lawyer or the firm name, plus the city of a real office or the State Bar address of record.
No pay-to-play badges. Remove any award or recognition from a group that charges a fee or requires membership to receive it.
A one-year ad archive. California already requires the firm to keep a true copy of each ad for one year. Ask the agency to keep a dated archive and hand it over on request.
Accounts in the firm’s name. Google Business Profile, Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads and the domain registrar belong to the firm, with the agency added as a user.
A real address on the map listing. The Google Business Profile address must be an office the firm operates from and staffs, not a rented mailing address.

Frequently asked questions
How much does law firm SEO cost in Los Angeles?
+
Of the five agencies here, only Attorney Marketing Network publishes a monthly figure: most firms start around $1,000 to $3,000 a month, and the agency says LA runs higher than smaller markets. Majux publishes an average cost of $750 per signed injury case for 2024 instead of a retainer. The other three price after an audit.
Is my SEO agency liable under California SB 37?
+
Usually not. The law carves out advertising agencies that only prepare ad content, and gives consumers a claim against the advertiser after a State Bar complaint, with statutory damages from $5,000 to $100,000 per unique ad. That is why the firm should approve every ad and page in writing.
Does my SEO agency need an office in Los Angeles?
+
No. Two of the five agencies here run LA work from other cities. A local office helps if you want in-person meetings; it does not change what the agency can do for rankings.
How long does law firm SEO take to work in Los Angeles?
+
The agencies give different ranges. Majux says map pack calls can start in two to three months for an established site and six to twelve for a new one. LAD Solutions gives 30 days to 24 months depending on the market. GLP Marketing declines to promise a date and reports monthly instead.
Can my law firm use a virtual office address on Google Business Profile?
+
Google’s guidelines say a rented mailing address the business does not operate from is not eligible for a profile, and listings built on one can be suspended. Use an office the firm staffs during its listed hours.

Method and sources
How we checked these agencies+
This is a shortlist of five agencies that market SEO to Los Angeles law firms, not a ranking. For each one we read its own site for office address, client base, pricing, contract terms and named LA clients, then checked its Google Business Profile for address, phone and review count, and read the review text itself.
Where an agency publishes a result, a price or a recognition, we say it is the agency’s own statement. Where two sources disagree, or we could not confirm something, we say so in the entry. The California rule summary comes from the chaptered text of SB 37, not from an agency blog.
